How to join a Minecraft server
Joining a server takes less than a minute. All you need is the server's IP address and a matching Minecraft version.
Pick a server
The server list is ranked by votes. Check the version, the game mode and how many players are on right now.
Copy the IP address
Click the IP address next to the server and it is copied.
Add the server in the game
In the Minecraft menu open Multiplayer and click Add Server. Paste the address into Server Address and click Done.
Join
The server appears in your list. Select it and click Join Server. Next time it will already be there.
Which version works?
The server page lists the versions the server runs on. If yours doesn't match, create a new entry with that version under Installations in the Minecraft Launcher and start the game with it.
Playing on a phone or console?
In Bedrock Edition open Play, then Servers, and click Add Server. You can only join servers that accept Bedrock players. The Bedrock port is usually 19132.
